久保田副学長が日本・韓国・台湾の昆虫学会による合同国際シンポジウムで招待講演を行いました
本学の久保田耕平 副学長（情報デザイン学部 教授）が、2026年9月13日（日）に龍谷大学先端理工学部（瀬田キャンパス）で実施された、日本・韓国・台湾の昆虫学会による「2026年東アジア昆虫学国際シンポジウム ― 野外調査、データ解析、国際連携を通じて探る東アジアの昆虫多様性（International Symposium of Entomology in East Asia 2026 ― Exploring Insect Diversity in East Asia through Field Studies, Data Analysis, and Global Partnerships）」において、招待講演を行いました。この国際シンポジウムは9月12日～14日にかけて開催された第86回日本昆虫学会大会の行事の一環として実施されたものです。
久保田副学長は、6人の登壇者の1人として「東アジアの昆虫学者との30年間にわたる国際共同研究（Three decades of international collaborative research with entomologists in East Asia）」というタイトルの講演を行いました。久保田副学長は、韓国、中国、台湾の研究者と継続的な国際共同研究を実施しており、オサムシやクワガタムシを材料とした東アジア地域における共同研究の成果の一部を紹介されました。また、最後には若い研究者に対して、国際会議に積極的に出席して研究者間のネットワークを構築することを呼びかけました。
